Commission Information
Duncan MacDiarmid has worked in a variety of materials and has developed a clear method for working with clients interested in commissioning a unique piece of sculpture. Whether it is a portrait, garden sculpture, architectural project, or a more abstract piece of sculpture, the artist places great importance on the clients complete understanding of the project, it's design, and the various stages through which it must pass to reach the finished product. Pricing varies depending on the type of sculpture being made and the final material. All sculptures go through a design stage, where concepts are discussed and drawings are made to help clarify the look of the sculpture. Before the sculpture is begun, a small model is made. This model represents the spirit and form of the final sculpture and becomes the objective for both the client and the sculptor. Please contact Duncan with any questions.
